However, I am ever more reminded how it does not go away; it lies quietly dormant waiting to be joyously and exuberantly remembered. Treat the world – LIFE – like a scavenger hunt. Because it is.
Susan’s Scavenger Hunt for you today: find these 5 things: 1) something you are proud of, 2) something you would happily do again, 3) five consecutive minutes of peaceful thought, 4) a stream of light where you didn’t expect it, and 5) a gentle sound from nearby.
AND, one extra: find the color of your eyes in something today.
A Painterly Home 
Thanks again for a thought provoking article. I really had to sit with this one.
I’m out in my yard and found myself longing for another place. It’s doubtful that I’ll ever set foot there, yet there I was, wanting to create a space “back home.”
At that point, I remembered your article, and kinda felt like I had my head up my ass. Right here, in the yard, the sunlight is dappling the leaves, I had a good morning conversation with a crow, and thanked the water for always being there when I need it.
